Ebbon-Dacs new Enquiry Builder application goes from concept to sales success in only six months!

When Ebbon-Dacs held a sales and CRM user group in late 2011, one of the most significant problems discussed was how to encourage sales executives to consistently capture every sales enquiry and not just the ones destined to be an immediate sale.  We were given four key requirements:

  • A simple solution that was easier to use than ‘writing enquiries down on bits of paper and post it notes’
  • A solution that could be accessed over the web and provide great visibility and real time control for the management
  • One system for all types of enquiries, including external leads such as web site leads
  • A solution that talks to the DMS so that there is no need for re-keying.

Ebbon-Dacs set to work immediately, in consultation with a number of select customers, to design and build a software solution.  The key was to keep it very simple.  By March 2011 Ebbon-Dacs released v1.0 and went into pilot with the Hendy Group.  The feedback from the pilot was tremendous and very quickly Ebbon-Dacs began taking orders from a number of customers.

Six months later and Enquiry Builder had been installed in five of the top AM 100 Dealer Groups.  The speed of delivery and implementation has been achieved as a result of the user friendly and simple to use design.  So much so that one customer, with 200 users, setup, trained and implemented Enquiry Builder within two weeks!
